These Stuffed Chicken Wings with Shrimp are seriously the best! Delicious as an appetizer or main course, these wings are crispy, savory and full of flavors!

Ingredients:
  • 8 oz. Chicken Wings,  Drumettes Removed. 
  • 1 tbsp. Shaoxing Wine [marinade 1]
  • 5 pieces Ginger Slices [marinade 1]
  • 2 Stalks Chopped Green Onion [marinade 1]
  • 0.5 tsp. Salt [marinade 1]
  • 0.25 tsp. White Pepper [marinade 1]  
  • 8 oz. Shrimp, Minced   
  • 0.25 tsp. Salt [marinade 2]
  • 0.25 tsp. White Pepper [marinade 2]
  • 2 tbsp. Shaoxing Wine [marinade 2]
  • 2 tbsp. Corn Starch
  • 0.25 cup Water
  • 1 count Egg White  
  • 1 tbsp. Cilantro Leaves
  • 1 tbsp. Minced Hams
  • 0.33 cup Cooking Oil

Remove the bones of the chicken wings. Do not remove the wingtips.

Use a tenderizer or chef knife to tenderize the meat carefully without breaking the skins.

Combine chicken, chopped green onion, gingers, Shaoxing wine, and salt in a mixing bowl. Mix well and refrigerate for 1 hour.

In another bowl, combine minced shrimp, a pinch of salt, a pinch of white pepper, and Shaoxing wine. Mix well.

Lay chicken wing flat with skin side down on a cutting board, and dust a thin layer starch on top first.

Add minced shrimp shaped like a dome, brush on egg white, and place a cilantro leaf at top. Repeat this for all chicken wings.

Place in a plate, and steam for 15 minutes.

In a cooking pan, add oil, and sear the skin side until golden.
