For your next picnic, this strawberry iced tea is a must! First we steep hibiscus tea, which has a nice refreshing yet tart taste. Hibiscus has many benefits including preventing oxidative stress. This amazingly compliments our strawberries which we blend with a touch of honey to balance the tartness. Pour it over ice and serve with a mint leaf for garnish!

Ingredients:
  • 1/4 cup Dried hibiscus flowers
  • 3 cup Hot water
  • 10 oz. Strawberries
  • 2 tbsp. Honey
  • 2 tbsp. Lemon juice
  • Ice cube
  • Mint leaves
Directions:

Place the hibiscus flowers in a container. Pour the boiling hot water and let it infuse for 15 minutes.

Place the strawberries, honey and lemon juice in a blender and process until completely pureed.

Put some ice cube in a bottle, then pour the tea through a fine mesh strainer into it, stri a bit then add the strawberry puree and mix well.

Pour over ice to serve, garnish with mint and strawberry slices. Enjoy!
