  • 1 tbsp. Corn starch
  • Sautéed Deep Fried Prawns
  • 1 tbsp. Cooking oil
  • 1 tbsp. Ginger, minced
  • tbsp. Green onion, chopped
  • 2 tbsp. Shaoxing wine
  • 3 tbsp. Soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp. Sugar
  • 1 tsp. Maggi seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp. Sweet black rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp. Sesame Oil
  • 1/8 tsp. White Pepper

Preparation of Prawns: Cut along the outer edge of the shrimp's back, about 1/4-inch deep. Carefully remove and discard the vein.

Coating the Prawns: In a mixing bowl, coat the shrimps evenly with cornstarch. This step ensures that the cornstarch absorbs some of the moisture, keeping the shrimp tender during the deep frying process.

Deep Frying: In a deep frying pan, heat the cooking oil to 400°F/200°C. Once the oil is hot, quickly deep fry the shrimps for approximately 1 minute or until they turn golden brown.
