Celebrate your sweet tooth! Sandwiched between crunchy chocolate cookies with aromatic white sesame seeds, this whale shaped dessert is filled with three layers of chocolate, strawberry, and matcha flavored cake and topped with fresh raspberries and cream.

  • 0.5 cup White Sesame Seeds
  • Cake-Egg White
  • 7 count Egg White
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 0.25 tsp. Cream Of Tartar
  • 7 count Egg Yolk
  • 0.5 cup Water
  • 1 cup Cake Flour
  • 2 tbsp. Cocoa Powder
  • 2 tbsp. Matcha Powder
  • 2 tbsp. Strawberry Powder
  • 1 tsp. Baking Soda
  • 1 tsp. Salt
  • Filling
  • 0.5 cup Strawberry Jam
  • 0.5 cup Whipped Cream
  • 0.5 cup Fresh Raspberry

Heat oven to 350 °F / 180 °C

In the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, cream butter and sugar on medium speed until light and fluffy. Add egg, and beat until combined. Add the flour, and beat until combined. Add toasted sesame seeds, and beat until incorporated.

Transfer cookie batter onto the working surface. Knead and roll into 1/4 thick.

Cut the dough into the whale shape.

Bake golden for 12 minutes. Remove from oven, and cool on a wire rack.

Cut the cocoa/matcha/strawberry cake into 1x6.5 inch wide strips.

Stake the cake strips together, and add the strawberry jam between each layer.

Stick the whale shape sesame cookie on each 6.5-inch side on the layered cake strips.
