In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch, and salt. Whisk in the milk and turn on the heat to medium-high, whisking constantly. When the pudding starts to simmer, remove it from heat.
Banana pudding is made as healthy as we can. Using less fat and less sugar can still produce a nice homemade egg custard dessert that tastes even better eaten the next day. Brings back memories from my childhood.
