We have prepared today the ‘Korean Spareribs Chicken’ that became wide-known for appearing in the movie Extreme Job. Ingredients:
  • 1 Whole Chicken
  • 1.4 cup Milk
  • 1/4 Large Green onion
  • 2 cup Fried Chicken Flour Mix (any kind available in the market)
  • Cooking oil
  • Sesame seeds
  • Seasoning for chicken:
  • 2 tbsp. Cooking wine
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Sauce:
  • 1/4 cup Soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 1 tbsp. Sugar
  • 2 tbsp. Starch syrup
  • 2 tbsp. Cooking wine
  • 1/4 Large Onion
  • 1 tbsp. Minced garlic
  • 1/4 Large Green onion
  • 1 tsp. Sesame oil
Directions:

Soak the chicken in the milk for about 30 minutes and wash it in running water. Marinate the meat for about 10 minutes. Chop the spring onion and onion into small pieces.

Coat the marinated chicken with fried chicken flour mix.

Put some vegetable oil in a bowl and roll the chicken meat until it is evenly coated with the oil.

Put the chicken in the air fryer and cook for 15 minutes at 356 ˚F/180 ˚C. Turn the meat over and cook for another 10 minutes. Make sure to leave enough space between each pieces of chicken. (When frying in oil, preheat the oil to 338 ˚F/170 ˚C and cook the meat for about 10~12 minutes. It gets even crispier if you can fry it twice.)

Put all the ingredients for the sauce in a heated pan. When the sauce is brought to boil, put the fried chicken and stir-fry until the sauce is evenly distributed. Top with chopped spring onion and some sesame seeds.
