With layers of creamy mascarpone mousse, espresso soaked ladyfingers and unsweetened cocoa powder in cups, these mini Tiramisu cups are the true “cheer me up” dessert. This recipe is a little different than traditional tiramisu.

Ingredients:
  • 4 oz. Dairy Heavy Cream
  • 4 tbsp. Sugar
  • 9 oz. Mascarpone
  • 4 tbsp. Icing Sugar
  • 4 tbsp. Milk
  • 3 count Egg
  • 2 tsp. Gelatine
  • 0.5 count Lemon
  • Cookies
  • 0.5 cup Cake Flour
  • 1 tsp. Coffee Powder
  • 3 count Egg
  • 3 tbsp. Icing Sugar

Preheat the oven 325°F (170°C).

In a large bowl, whip egg white (3) with sugar until fully mixed.

In another mixing bowl, whip Egg Yolk with icing sugar until fully mixed.

Mix ⅓ egg white mixture to the bowl of the egg yolk mixture and mix well. Add additional 1/3 egg white mixture and combine well.

Sift cake flour and coffee powder. Add coffee powder and cake flour into the egg yolk mixture, and mix well. Add the rest of egg white mixture, and mix well.

Add the egg batter into a pastry bag and make bars on the baking sheet.

Bake for 20 minutes.

In a mixing bowl, whip the mascarpone until soften.

In another large bowl, whip the heavy cream with sugar well.

In a double boiler, mix the milk and sugar and dissolve over low heat. Add egg yolk one by one and stir. Then, add gelatin and lemon juice, and stir to combine well.

Cool the egg custard liquid down to room temperature.

Add the whipped mascarpone to the cooled custard and whisk together until smooth. Gently fold in the whipped cream until well combined.

Brew a pot of coffee.

Dip a lady finger into the coffee then put it into a cup.

Squeeze Tiramisu cream to the top and add the bar and add cream again, add the bar the 3rd time and add the cream to the top of the cup.

Sprinkle some coffee powder on top. Freeze for 4 hours.
