It’s easy to make delicious Grilled Whole Lobster at home! Most lobster grilling recipes are all about how to grill lobster tails, however, Chef John will show you how to barbecue whole lobsters.

Ingredients:
  • 2 count Lobsters
  • 1 oz Garlic Cloves, Chopped
  • 1 oz Red Onion, Chopped
  • 0.5 oz Red Pepper, Sliced
  • 2 oz Scallops, Diced
  • 1 oz Butter
  • 1 cup Parsley
  • 1 tbsp Apple Vinegar
  • 2 tbsp Vodka
  • 1 can Crab Meat
  • 0.5 tsp Salt to Taste
  • 0.5 tsp Pepper to Taste
  • 0.5 count Lemon
  • 1 oz Crackers
  • 0.5 tsp Salt to Taste [Seasoning for Lobster]
  • 0.5 tsp Pepper to Taste [Seasoning for Lobster]
  • 0.5 count Lemon [Seasoning for Lobster]

Prepare a medium-high gas or charcoal grill fire. Place a large skillet over the grill, and add butter, chopped garlic, red onion, red chili pepper, and mix well.

Add parsley and scallops into the pan. Then, add apple vinegar and vodka to taste.

Mix in the crab meat. Add salt and pepper to taste.

Add cookie crackers to the seafood topping mixture and mix well. Set aside to cool.

Split the lobster in half and crack claws. Remove intestines and liver.

Put the seafood topping mixture onto the lobster.

Put lobster onto the grill with the shell side down. Add salt and pepper to taste. Squeeze the lemon juice on top of the lobster.

Close the lid and grill for 15-20 minutes.

Grill until the shells are bright red and the protein in the juices that seep from the shells turns white and coagulates.
