Ground pork marinated in the traditional Chinese staples of ginger garlic and onions with a splash of soy sauce. Are encased in the dried tofu wraps and gently finished in the pan until the filling is steamed to tender perfection, whilst tofu skins are chewy and golden. just add a drizzle of sesame oil and you have a fantastic idea for a dim sum dish, tapas, or appetizer.

Ingredients:
  • Filling
  • 7 oz. Ground pork
  • 1 tbsp. Shaoxing wine
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1/2 tbsp. Soy sauce
  • 1 tsp. Oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp. Sugar
  • 1/2 tbsp. Ginger, minced
  • 1/2 tbsp. Green onion, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp. White pepper
  • For Tofu Skin
  • 1 Large Tofu skin
  • 2 large Egg
  • 1 tbsp. Cooking oil
  • Seasoning
  • 1 tbsp. Shaoxing wine
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 tsp. Soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. Sugar
  • Drizzle
  • 1/2 tsp. Sesame oil
  • Garnish
  • 1 tbsp. Green onion, diced

Divide a tofu skin sheet into two equal pieces.

In a bowl, combine 【Filling】and mix well.

Place one half tofu skin on a cutting board, and brush with egg liquid evenly over the entire sheet.

Put 2 tbsp seasoned ground pork at the end close to your body.

Roll forward a full turn, then fold in both sides, continually roll forward till the end. Shape the roll into a rectangle block.

Put the roll in a cooking pan, turn on the heat to medium, add cooking oil, fry until the bottom is golden, flip it over.

Add 【Seasoning】and cover with a lid, simmer over low heat for 8-10 minutes.

Drizzle with sesame oil at the end.
