This easy-to-make soft garlic cheese bread is the bread of your dreams! It is super soft and fluffy, filled with garlic butter and mozzarella that’s why it is so delicious. Serves fine as a breakfast or dinner or even as a snack.

Ingredients:
  • For the dough:
  • 1.25 Cup All-purpose flour
  • 0.33 Cup Milk
  • 1 Large Egg
  • 1 Tsp Instant yeast
  • 2 Tbsp Sugar
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 1.76 Tbsp Unsalted butter
  • For the top filling:
  • 1.41 Tbsp Salted butter
  • 1 Tsp Minced garlic
  • 1 Large Egg yolk
  • 0.5 Tbsp Green onion
  • 1 Tsp Honey
  • 5.2 Oz. Mozzarella cheese

Mix all the ingredients together for the dough. Let it rest for 20 minutes.

After that add 1.76 tablespoons of butter to the dough and mix it into the dough properly. Then put it on a tray with a baking sheet.

Let the dough double size on the tray.

In the meantime prepare the top filling. Mix the butter with the minced garlic. Then add the egg yolk, green onion, and honey and mix properly.

Cut the mozzarella into slices and then into halves.

When the dough has doubled make it larger in diameter by pushing with hands. Create lines into the dough so that they form a net.

Paste the top filling into the net and place a prism of cheese into each line vertically and horizontally.

Preheat the oven at 360°F / 180°C. Bake for 15 minutes.
