This Sesame Chicken is loaded with crispy chicken cubes tossed in a sweet and savory sauce and topped with sesame seeds.

Ingredients:
  • 1 lb. Chicken Breast
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 tbsp. Tomato Sauce
  • 0.4 cup Water
  • 2 tbsp. Sugar
  • 1 tbsp. Slurry of Water and Starch in 1:1 Ratio
  • 1 pinch Salt to taste
  • 1 pinch Black Pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp. Soy Sauce (For Marinade: 1 Tbsp; for Sauce: 1 Tbsp)
  • 1 tbsp. Rice Vinegar
  • 2 cup Oil [For Deep Frying]

Cut chicken cubes put in a big mixing bowl, season with salt, black pepper, soy sauce, mix well, coat each chicken cube with flour, fry in hot oil until golden brown, remove from the pan, set aside.

Fry the chicken in hot oil until golden brown, remove from the pan, sit aside.

In another pan, add tomato sauce, water, sugar, soy sauce, rice vinegar, black pepper, starch solution, stir a bit.

Return the fried chicken onto the sauce mixture, top sesame seeds and chopped scallion.
