Chinese Ham Kong Fan rice has a wide range of ingredients, both meat and vegetarian, such as bacon and peas, which is one of the classic dishes. The method is not complicated. Even a novice who is not good at cooking will cook a delicious “kong (kong)” rice. Try and enjoy!

Ingredients:
  • 1 qt. Water
  • 1 cup Long grain rice
  • 1 tbsp. Cooking oil
  • 6 oz. King wah ham
  • 1/2 cup Carrot
  • 1 tbsp. Light soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. Ground salt
  • 1 cup Green peas
  • 3/4 cup Water
  • Chinese bacon
Directions:

First, dice the ham and carrots for later use. Wash the basmati rice for later use without soaking.

Use a small soup pot, pour water, turn on the fire and boil, add the basmati rice and cook for 5-6 minutes until 6-7 mature, remove and drain the water for later use.

In another pot, turn on medium-low heat, pour in oil, add ham (or bacon), carrots, and soy sauce, stir-fry evenly, add an appropriate amount of salt, add peas, stir-fry for 1-2 minutes, and finally add water.

Then put the drained basmati rice on top of the dish, cover the pot, turn to a small fire and simmer for 7-8 minutes, then open the pot, then use a spatula to mix evenly, you can add a little chopped green onion according to personal preference and enjoy!

Remark: Can be made with leftover rice, be careful not to make the rice too soft. Choose ingredients according to their own preferences. Vegetarians can use green beans, peas, red stalks, cowpeas, dried tofu, etc., or add a small amount of Sichuan broken rice sprouts.
