Beautiful and soft pastries in the shape of these roses or twisted bread. Very tasty butter pastry, ideal for birthdays and gatherings. Perfect for dinner, even nicer for breakfast. We often prepare these bread rolls, because they are soft and delicious.

Ingredients:
  • 0.7 cup Milk
  • 0.7 cup Water
  • 0.17 cup Oil
  • 1 tbsp. Sugar
  • 0.35 oz. Yeast
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • 1 tbsp. Salt
  • 28.2 oz. Bread flour
  • 4.4 oz. Butter
Directions:

In a large bowl, pour warm milk and water. Add sugar, yeast, and a little flour and stir to mix well.

Then add oil, one egg, and one egg white, then a little more flour.

Mix everything well again.

Continue mixing as long as possible, and finally knead the dough, gradually adding flour.

When the dough is kneaded and still a little sticky, add 40 g of butter and squeeze the dough well with your hands, so that the butter is well incorporated into the dough. The dough is still soft but not sticky. Cover with a cloth and leave for an hour in a warm place and grow.

Knead the dough and divide it into as many parts as you want to get, depending on whether you want it to be bigger or smaller.

Shape each piece of dough into a ball, close the bottom and arrange them all.

Take one ball at a time, squeeze it a little with your fingers up and down, then stretch it into an ellipse with a rolling pin (as per video).

Coat with a little butter, and pull a few lines along with the dough with a knife or pizza cutter but do not cut to the end.

Twist obliquely, then grab the ends with your hands, stretch a little, and twist in a circle. (it's nice to see that in the video)

Arrange on a baking sheet and let stand for 20 minutes.

After 20 minutes, add a spoonful of milk to the yolk, whisk, then coat the pastry with butter and turn on the oven to heat to 390 °F/200 °C.

Sprinkle with sesame seed and flax seeds. Place the pastry in a preheated oven to bake for 20 minutes or until finely browned.

If desired, coat the baked pastry with butter, cool a bit, and serve. Enjoy!
