This fantastic dessert Baklava is loved by many. This well-known sweet with nuts and butter with crispy and moist texture at the same time provides a unique taste. Enjoy it on your table at home with only a little effort.

Ingredients:
  • 8.8 oz. Chopped nuts
  • 3 tbsp. Cinnamon powder
  • 10.5 oz. Butter
  • 12 Sheets Filo pastry sheets
  • 2 cup Sugar
  • 2 cup Water
  • 1 oz. Lemon juice
Directions:

Chop the nuts. Our case pistachios and walnuts.

Put them into a bowl and add cinnamon. Mix it.

Put the butter into a pan and heat it. Remove any impurities. Turn off the heat when the butter has a clear yellow color.

Sieve through a fine sieve.

Take the filo pastry sheets. Spread butter on a baking tray.

Add the pastry sheets, 5 in total, and paste butter on the top of each sheet.

Sprinkle the top with the chopped nuts.

Spread the remaining 7 slices of pastry and butter on top.

Cut the edges neatly. Cut into bite-sized pieces.

Spread the remaining butter on top of them and bake at 76-82 °F/170-180 °C for 20-25 minutes.

Add 2 cups of water, 2 cups of sugar, and lemon juice into a pan.

When the syrup starts to boil, reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes.

As soon as the dough is removed from the oven, pour the boiled syrup on it. Soak it in syrup for 3 to 5 hours.
